Yeah...what they hell are FFX-2 Rikku and Yuna going to do next to Disney character . Well at least I know I'll be able to get my infamous panty shots on them too. In other news... Hikki's "Passion" video, the theme for KH2 has been released on Japanese t.v. screens. I of course have download the music video, but due to the current condition of my ears can't tell you how it sounds, so I'll be uploading it in a couple days to the multimedia section.

Not just FFX-2 Yuna and Rikku but Paine too, now. Apparently they're very tiny, like fairies or something. Possibly summons? Weird, regardless. Sephiroth is back again also!
I like 'Passion' personally. It seems... calmer than 'Hikari' I think, a bit more subdued but very pretty and emotional nonetheless. It almost sounds more mature, which will suit the more mature story and characters perfectly.

;D Sephiroth! Sephiroth!
Yeah...the whole FFX-2 girls thing sounds...abso-friggin-lutely weird
What are you looking forward to most? Besides Sephy, I just want to continue the storyline since CoM basically did nothing for it seeing as how what happened at the end.

It does sound very weird. It looks very weird, too. Nomura said they were part of a fairy race or something? Now people are saying Rinoa and Setzer will pop up, too.
I'm most looking forward to the story line, too. There were so many questions left unanswered and looks like there will be even more that will pop up during the game. I'm especially curious about what Riku's up to. I'd probably have a better idea of it if I'd finished his CoM story but I got stuck on Hades and quite trying after a while. I'm also looking forward to the actual gameplay! It sounds like they put a lot of effort into expanding the battle system and all.

Three cheers for Setzer.
Looking forward to seeing the new features they've added.

So...I being a spoiler lover saw the opening and ending to the game. My thoughts: OMGs is that game going to be better than the first and Kairi wears bondage! (really haven't spoiled anything for you guys)
Anyway have your or would you watch the videos without playing the game first?

I've seen the intro, the first cut scene and the scenes from the first visit to Hollow Bastion. I guess that makes me only a partial spoiler lover, 'cause even though I watched all that I resisted watching the end. I don't mind being spoiled just a little. Really, the intro was just a recap of two games I'd all ready played, and since I speak a painfully small amount of Japanese the cut scenes were mostly lost on me. I don't want to see anything big like the ending though, I'd rather be surprised. Of course, there are a lot of inconsiderate people floating around the web, so I've been spoiled on a few important points on accident anyway.
On another note, the game looks so pretty! It's going to be awesome to see what Square can do on a PS3.

Yeah, the opening was so amazing. I loved how they'd switch around sequences with like Sora and Riku fighting and how tied into the music it was (with that karaoke). Don't worry I won't spoil the ending for you, but from how things look there could be a possibility of a 3rd game I think. *sighs* I can't wait, darn it, and I hope that all the voice actors from the first game are back for the second because Cloud's...was just so sexy.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome how the visuals and music synched up. You can definately tell from the fluidity of the action sequences that the FF7: AC team was behind it, too.
According to a recent Electronic Gaming Monthly article, Steve Burton, the same guy that did Cloud's voice in the first KH will return to do Cloud's voice in the second. Rachel Leigh Cook will do Tifa's voice, and Aerith's VA has been changed from Mandy Moore to Mena Suvari. None of the other FF characters were mentioned, as far as voice acting goes.

I can't wait. Thank you so much for that information.
Has a more direct release date been spoken of (like a month)?
Also, has anyone read the KH manga? I haven't although I'd like to. I was wondering how close it was to the game.

Just announced yesterday that we'll see KH2 on March 28th! That's pretty close. I was kind of worried what would happen with it, after the continued delay of AC's release.
I've read the first two volumes. Volume one I read the Tokyopop release and the second volume I read scans of, back before it was liscensed. The first volume pretty much follows the story, but after that the worlds are kind of thrown out of order. Like they go to Agrabah, then the Colliseum. I think a few worlds might've been cut too, as the series is only four volumes long. Other than that, I'm not too sure.

Yeah, I'm starting to doubt that we'll even get AC now, but whoooooo-hoooo about KH-2. Has anyone pre-ordered a copy? I can't, gotta wait for the price to go down or buy it used Would you say that it's really something you should read or not to waste your money on?

Actually, Square says now we'll see AC on April 25th, so hopefully that date will stick this time. I'll probably preorder it online, but since I have to borrow a credit card to do it, I'm going to wait until something else I want is up for preorder and then just get both at once. If nothing else, maybe you can at least rent it or something.
Well if you've got the extra cash to kick around I'd say maybe. They sell for only $5.99 and have some slight variations from the game. If you've got other manga series you want to invest in, though, I'd save my money for that. It's not really engaging enough, after having played the game, to ignore another series for.

What was your overall opinion of the game?

The game-play was definately better. Still a button-masher but at least you had the opportunity to mash more than one button. The music was good, and the voice acting was pretty good. Though it failed horribly in some places. Was I the only one maliciously hoping Sephiroth would go after Aeris again just so we wouldn't have to hear her stoner voice anymore?
Overall though, I was a bit dissapointed in the plot. Just a bit. I had been expecting something darker from the kind of vibe the trailors and secret endings had, and the whole Roxas/Namine plot seemed as though it was underplayed. A lot could have been done with it that wasn't, you know? But overall it was a really cool game. Definately looking forward to the next one.
