Okay, so I was playing Final Fantasy VIII again from the beggining two or three days ago, when I talked to a character in balamb who told me this little story about this "Hyne" god or whatever where ... apparently the people ganged up on him and he gave them half his body, but he tricked them because he got the half stronger in magic. ... I've also recently downloaded an unoffically translated ff3 game. For the NES. And today ... I noticed ... Hyne was mentioned. (I believe it was in the game, my memory is strangely fuzzy about the whole thing, but it could have been a breif part of the walkthrough) So I'm like ... "waaaiiit a minute." And I look up FF III Hyne and this is what I found: WARNING! MAJOR SPOILERS! - Even though I haven't beaten III its still worth it. If you've played VIII, I'd do the same. www.rpgamer.com/editor/2005/q2/050205gm.htmlThis is pretty interesting. So, FF VIII is really FF III-2!? Wow ...yeah, if I put off ff III before, I'm not doing it now!

wow I had noticed some similarities, but never put them together like that article. Wow, I don't know what to say, what to feel. The only word that comes to me right now is "awesome" although it's broken down some truths I believed in...anyway...wow, I'd never have noticed Ultimecia's clock.

I haven't actually played 6, but this kinda makes me want to. No by III I mean III for the nintendo only released in Japan, not Final Fantasy VI in Japan and III in America.

Oh sorry...I have no idea what happens in 3 then. What's it about? Well, so far this is what happened in my game: Four boys go into a cave and find some crystal and it gives them powers or somethng. I forget. I haven't been playing it recently.

Ah but thats not the only interesting connection between final fantasy games Ive noticed something between 7 and 10 that makes me think that 10 is actually the *possibly thousands to millions of years* prequal to 7
I wouldnt of noticed this if I didnt play Final Fantasy 10-2, where a kid named 'Shinra' Wanted to use the farplanes and turn it into a power source. Also mabey the 'ancients' were actually the quado but 'evolved' sence after the whole 10 thing they did went into hiding and if I remember correctly the Ancients have a hidden village and it was past a 'magical/illisionary' forest *hints at the Macalania Forest* though you dont have any real 'map' evidence because of the ages and continents shifting *hence I said thousands to millions*.
But who knows like that guy on RPGamer said with 3 and 8, If we played 3 like the japanese did when it came out we probably would of noticed the comparisons to 3 and 8 and sence most people havnt played 10-2 because of the quote "Barbie doll like game" nor have gotten that far into it after playing 10 min of it and this information was around the end of the game not many people 'would' know of this, and yes I finished the game, Im dead set on finishing all final fantasy games, even 12...*cring* god I hate 12 T_T graphics yeah good rest...sucks...and so many other words I wont mention.....
