Anyone else here that plays these games?
Its the WORLD featured on a playstation 2 disc. The game is split into four parts: Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarintine.
You play through the world fighting viruses and searching for the cause of your friend and other player sudden comatose states.

The series is too expensive for me so I haven't gotten it yet, but I watched you play and must say that Elk is a total stoner.

I played the first 3. I'm to poor to keep renting them or buy them. XD I got really bored with 2 and 3 because they were just... boring. They were, like... the set up for Quarintine, and just frustrating. XD I think they could have made Mutation and Outbreak one game. I liked the DVD that came with them, though.

I'd love to see a "The World" MMORPG. I'm really surprised they haven't started developing one yet. I'd prefer it much more than their current games. It would be so nice on the PS3 too.

From what I hear, that might actually be in development. Headset and everything. Good games now, though. Elk and his aromatic grass...Elk in real life would TOTALLY be Cheech.

I've noticed that if you haven't played for a while then try to level up, the game is so repetitive you want to stab yourself in the eye.

I've played the first four, I say first four cause a new seiries of .Hack came out recently I think. But yeah, it was okay, repetitive to the max, but overall they are good games. Elk...XD I found myself wanting to have Black Rose as my default character even through the rest of the seiries, her or Sanjuro. Me and my love for swords...

Sanjuro = a better default character than Kite I think. Kite just lacked the backstory y'know. He started too fresh in the game. I don't like that sort of thing.

Yeah. Plus I like either range or swords, knifes are cool and everything, but it doesen't have that...Main character aura about it. Knifes are for the mysterious flexible gu that can seem to defy gravity with his jumps, he has to have a bit of a kocky attitude and prolly a bit of a stuble of facial hair. Not saying all knife weilders are like that, but it'd be cool in my opinion. I guess it's cause the .Hack people wanted to try something new, I mean, how many games are out there that have a main character that weilds swords? Still, Sanjuro woulda been so cool to control.

I thought Elk was a she for so long, and that she was a lesbian.
