Now Dragons aren’t the only ones with this problem. I feel giants also suffer. A giant can take out half a group of people with one mighty blow, so I feel they translated its strength properly, but it follows a pattern with its attacks. Giants also have a very limited number of attacks, so memorizing all of them is actually pretty easy. I would love for the Giants to be revisited, and maybe gain a few more attacks. I think it would be awesome to see a giant swing a dead tree round, or maybe picking up players and throwing them! I loved the Karka from The Lost Shores event. They looked like living chunks of coral reef, and had some awesome and unique attacks. The best part is that they were big! I felt ArenaNet did a great job with these enemies. They moved around a lot, and could pose a threat to a group of players. Well, except the Ancient Karka. I think a champion was tougher to take down, and made for a more exciting battle. Oh well, you can’t get everything you want. At least not yet.Zombies are all the rage this summer and Dead Frontier gives players a chance to slice and dice their way through hordes of the undead. But is it fun? Find out in our latest review. The zombie apocalypse has been an entertaining subject for my time on this earth. A lot of cinema and games have been released using an outbreak of flesh-munching corpses as the primary threat. Walking Dead extremely successful franchise now, so the idea really has become a genre in and of itself. From flops like Dead Island to successfully recurring series’ like Resident Evil, nothing comes close to the experience of bashing in an unnamed walking cadaver’s skull in. Dead Frontier was no different, although for many reasons this will not be my top contender for zombie carnage. Headed to PAX Prime, Gamestop Expo or Gamescom? You might want to stop by. gamescom (Aug 15-19) – Members of the ArenaNet Community Team will be at gamescom this year, but unlike last year, we will not have a playable demo of Guild Wars 2. Our booth will be a chillout zone—the calm before the storm—so swing by, say hi, and get free drinks. wow power levelingGamestop Expo (Aug 29)- We will be at the Gamestop Expo at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX on August 29 from 11:00 – 16:00. We will have 16 Guild Wars 2 demo stations at the show, 8 of which will be on the Alienware Hummer. PAX (Aug 31-Sep 2) Since PAX Prime takes place the week of launch, we will not be attending PAX this year. But if you are in the Seattle area, we will have a party on Saturday September 1 to celebrate our launch. We’ll have more information at a later date.
