Has anybody had this problem. I've had it on my PS2 3 times. (actually it is the third time) and got it fixed by sony for free 2 times. (hopefully the next time too. ) I got my gamecube having a disc read error 1 time. (its right now .. it happened a couple hours before my ps2 crapped out again) So um .. what about you guys?

Just clean the GameCube disk, and about PS2... the PS2 is a piece of crap and it breaks mad easily... you gotta be very careful with PS2's.

Wont even read a disc i've only played like 5 times. No I didn't leave it out. Yes, the PS2 has a definite disc read error problem. ._. grr ..

When I first got my GameCube, I popped in Mario Sunshine, and it got a disk read error first time. The disk was perfectly clean, but after I cleaned it, it worked like dandelions.

I've seriously never had one problem with my PS2 which is weird because it's accidentally been through hell a couple times ( I sorta forget when it's in my backpack...then put it in places where it falls) which is weird because it is the least durable system as tested on X-Play.

I had the disc read error problem with my GC a few years ago (like a few months after I bought it). No games would play so I sent it to Nintendo to check out. They repaired it, but I think they stole the power light because it won't light up anymore when you turn it on It's dropped off my shelf like a dozen times since then and no problems though.

For sure. Like i said it's fallen off my shelf a bunch of times and the falls haven't damaged it all. *Gamecube suddenly explodes behind him* Seriously, most of nintendo's hardware is pretty tough.

I've had a few errors with my PS2... but when its in the care of an irresponsible child (my brother, not me) its bound to happen. Just kick the system a few times, I say... gets my stuff workin' fine.
