Finally they realized how bad they f'n suck! Blink 182 was never nething but posers and thank god they finally realized it. I was soo tired of them going around thinking they were the f'n best. Now people can see who the REAL bands are like Green Day. And if you're one of those poser blink 182 worshipers...find sumthing else to do with you're life because its over

i must say this is awesome, although they had that hot nurse in the one video, but speaking of posers, remember how all these kids started to be "punk" after Good Charlette came out. well green day was the same way(maybe even started the trend), their fan base is almost entirely posers, because they suck popsicle(im guessin cause who bite them)
over and out

Dude...Green Day will never be posers. They have great music and always have. Thru the years Green Day has been out there, they have been able to produce new music that people just dont seem to get tired of. Then you have these other bands such as Good Charlotte who consider themselves "punk" or whatever they say they are...come out with like 2 good songs and copy the rest of the shit from what other people are doing. Blink 182 did the same...which is why Blink 182 will NEVER be as good as Green Day.

Uhm ... just because they're "posers", their music is automatically horrible? That's a pretty immature conclusion to come to, if you ask me.
I think they've had pretty good music over the years (don't care much for the band, however - they had a couple of funnies).
Anyway, out of strict curiosity, what defines a "poser"? I find that such an asinine term. Posers don't exist - labels just suck.

Haha I agree because I didn't take their music or the band really seriously (except for Adam's Song...that was a pretty nice one). Nica sorta did though and I think it offended her, haha I dunno. To me posers are people who take a label because of a trend or something and aren't true to themselves. not me though this one takes no labels and cusses out every last dumb monkey who tries to put one on me, because just a word cannot define me (although I sometimes do use otaku even though that is a pretty bad label , but I don't let it define who I am).

The only reason they had the few good songs they had was because they stole the sounds from what other epople were making...and they followed the thrends thru the years...so nothing they really made was theirs..just everyone elses stuff with new lyrics. So unless they would like to admit they were followers...they're posers. And bethany, you're right...that is a poser...INCASE other people didnt know. And the fact they called themselves artists was just insane...because i didnt see any art going on there. I think what im just dealing with here is a person that cant admit Blink sucked.

Yeah, see what I mean? I didn't take them as actual artists or anything really serious like that, more like Tenacious D, but less awesome. Honestly, I thought everything from the lyrics to the music was just a punk/pop parody. I did enjoy 'The Enema of the State' and 'The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show' albums though (hahaha the conversations w/ Satan were pretty funny...,but didn't Tenacious D do that before?).

Thats because they're a huge joke...and the conversations with Satan was stolen from South Park for gods sake...and its pretty pathetic when you have to make a song of only swear words...and end it with "i [explicit]ed your mom". I think the only people that really did take Blink seriously were the ones that were obsessed with good charlotte and just went with everyone else... It's pathetic. Oh yea...and if you want to IM me on AIM and tell me otherwise...my screen name is Fckblnk182posers have fun

Errr...
I think the word we're looking for is "poseur", not poser... a poser is someone who poses (think like a picture... y'know, strike a pose?).
Anyway, the most simple way to define a poseur is someone who jumps on a bandwagon. Easiest way. To take this further, a poseur would be someone who heard one "punk" song, thought the lead singer was cute, and mimiced every action. INsert lingo and clothing style, maybe a hair-do, and BAM! Insta-poseur!
Anyway, to comment on Blink 182, I didn't mind their music. I enjoyed Stay Together For The Kids, but everything else was flavor-of-the-week-esque. Adam's Song was good, too, Lina, but without Good Riddance, Adam's Song would have never been written. Danica's right when she says everyone borrows from Green Day, but that's a good thing. Had it not been for Green Day, Nirvana, or going way back, the Sex Pistols or Ramones, what would punk be? Just another pop variation, like rap and R&B have become.

Yea Chaz...thats all true and everything because we wouldnt even have half the music we do today if it wasnt for people taking other things and making it into their own. But the problem with blink was that they didnt make it their own...they just "jumped on the bandwagon" as you like to say. Thats why earlier i said it was crazy that they even called themselves artists... And even tho a poser is one that poses...bethanys right about how it has been slang for years...thanx bethany and where did you find sumplace to define poser?! Thats crazy/kool stuff

i never siad green day were posers, i like thier old stuff, all i said is that hate hate the posers that liked them I guess thats a typo for "i hate the posers that liked them". But, how can you call someone a poser for the type of music they like or listen to if they truely like it and just dont say they do to go along with everyone? Thats like me calling you a poser because you like Godzilla movies....make sence? I'm pretty sure that no one said that you DID say Green Day were posers...if I'm wrong...please quote it and post because i missed that. And the problem with Blink is that they have been having problems with Green Day for a while now because they insist they were better than them. How can you steal somebodys music...not change it in any way, shape, or form...then insist that you're better at it? Green Day has even written a song about Blink and they have given a great name too..."Jackass". A line from the song is "Everybody loves a joke But no one likes a fool" and thats exactly what Blink became in the end...a bunch a fools.
