Yes, female rockers DO exist. Here's a list I had constructed for Gaia. Add onto it if you know any.
5,6,7,8's Aya Chisako from fra-foa Eva from Cerberos Hitomi Yaida Kana Kuroneko from Onmyouza Kyon from Pleur Kyouka from Inugami Circus Dan Lolita no.18 Luci'fer Luscious Violenoue Mera of Dagashi kashi Nene from Amadeus Olivia Sae from Basilisk Glance SAMURAI ROCKšGIRLS BAND Tara-chan from KiLHi+ICE The Scanty Waka from Danger™Gang Whiteberry (all girl band) Youjeen Youka from Clothoid Doll Yuu and Akko from GO!GO!7188 Vocalist from Feel So Bad Drummer from Tsubaki
If you consider them there's also Yuki from Judy and Mary although now she's pop and JaM seemed to be a bit too, Aikawa Nanase, Shiina Ringo, and Tommy Heavenly6. I'm actually thinking of a band, they had a guy I liked from another band in it and 3 chicks. I can't remember the guy, the band's name, or any of their songs right now though. Sorry.

Oh yeah, there's the 5,6,7,8's I believe they're called. They were in Kill Bill and started in the 80's. The band plays more of 50's rock...weird stuff. Also, another popstar who could be confused for a jrock chic is Nana Kitade. Her music does rock though *sings Kesenai Tsumi*.

Yeah... the song they do in Kill Bill (the Woo Hoo! one) is also on a cell phone commerical or something. Once, at my school, people kept singing and I told them it was by a Japanese band and they were like "there are BANDS in Japan?"

I listened to Onmyouza for the first time in months today. It was like a breath of fresh air. I wish I lived in Europe, dammit. XO

There's a lot more than I imagined. Yeah, there really don't seem to be a lot unless you sit down and think about them.

I forgot Hitomi Yaida. Do guys consider her rock or not? I can go both ways. I've heard of her. o.o; It seems a lot of Japanese girls are dabbling in the rock stuff. I guess America is the same way.
