According to Mrs. Kaplan, Nintendo of America’s vice president of corporate affairs, Nintendo Revolution – Nintendo’s next-generation home console – will not support any high-definition formats. Though both PS3 and X-box360 are pushing for high definition games, Revolution isn't. People are so upset that there's even a petition site for Nintendo to add in HD for their next system. 1080up.org/How important do you think high definition is to the future of gaming?

Not important, I don't think graphics matter.

I think graphics matter, but they don't count nearly as much as actual gameplay. There are some old NES and SNES games I'd rather play than some of the newer games coming out. And Zelda-Four Swords Adventure was a GC game with gameboyish graphics, but it's one of my favs.

Graphics really don't completely matter to a lot of gamers right now since everyone seems to be satisfied, but within the next several years it will because the technological market is changing a lot of things H.D. You have dozens of lines of HD t.v.'s and moniters and quite many more than you'd imagine cable channels for H.D. t.v.'s only. I think it will be a switch like from a black and white t.v. to a colored, but with our society moving so fast I really do predict 3/5 people who own a t.v. will have an H.D., so at some point it is going to be important to the gaming world.
