TOKYO — Around 62% of people surveyed by the health ministry say children should know how to use condoms before they turn 16, according to a report released Monday at a meeting of a ministry panel.
Asked at what age the use of condoms should be learned, 47 percent said between the ages of 13 and 15, following by 15 percent who said before 13, the working group on AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases was told. The survey was conducted in October and November on 3,000 people between the ages of 16 and 49, of whom 1,570 responded.
I think we had our first lesson when we were 12 or 13.
