Oki unveils ATM with IC card, biometric identification features
TOKYO — Oki Electric Industry Co. said Wednesday it has launched an automated teller machine with enhanced security features based on biometric identification.
The new ATM also accepts contact-free IC cash cards, which are harder for forgers to duplicate, the company said.
This is pretty good news because of the recent scams and stuff, but I was told that Japanese ATMs are evil.
