Did anyone go? Ours was tonight as usual because for some reason our city doesn't like weekends. I had a good time with 3 friends and a baby although I was the only one trick-or-treating. I'm 17 (Do you think that's too old? Also, no one could tell) but I found myself so excited to go to the next house even though I don't even really like candy because despite my age I've only gone out a handful of times. Everyone especially the elderly women loved my costume though which made me feel really good (I went as a ParaPara Allstar which looks like a cowgirl). Despite having to divide it up 6 ways I think I did alright in the candy department with several pounds. The only downside was that my pinky toenail sliced open the toe next to it causing a BIG ole stain of blood on my sock

Haven't gone yet, and I don't think I will this year. I'm in a new city, and I don't really think there are any good, close-by areas to go where I live. But we're having trick-or-treaters come here, which I'm excited about. I love seeing kids in their costumes.
Seventeen too old for Halloween? Heck, no. That would make trick-or-treating at eighteen seem ancient. Which, if I could, I would go out and do.
Aww, your poor toe. Glad to hear that you had a good time, though!

I'm 18 and still going to go. Hopefully I'll get something. Noticed that girls pass for being younger much more than guys. Ours is next week.

We don't do Trick or Treating here, we don't carve pumpkins or do anything funny traditions anyways T_T First time I saw it on tv when I was a kid, and would have wanted to go then, but they didn't let me- those childhood traumacausers. So, I just settled for decorating our house and in the evening I sneaked out to throw small rocks on our neighbours windows as comfort x) That is my only Halloween experience so far. I've always wanted to do it properly, probably sounds strange coming from an 19-year old. Right now my paps is on a trip in the u.s., and I'm sticked home ._. Oh the regret...

I took this year off because I have pneumonia and it's cold outside. I handed out candy to kids though. Damn, I got SWARMED. X___X;;

dreamingawake That's so nice and innocent. Only way I'd have the patience to hand out is if I hand the money to literally scare the piss out of everyone who steps on my porch (which in my perfect world would be a fog machine, a crawling zombie, and other animatronics >o> lots of people are afraid of dogs which is a good start because I have a huskie that makes funny noises instead of barking) @sephire Aw I really hope one day you get to experience it somehow. I actually feel pretty selfish for my own handful of experiences as well as wanting to have a grande one in Africa or Mexico (their day of the dead though. A lot of people surprisingly think they're the same thing). lex Please tell me you at least were able to frighten a young'un.

Here, trick or treating is two hours long, for the first hour, my fianceƩ and I handed out candy, but the only results we got were gangstas with no costumes. But then we went trick or treating, and got some candy. Mmmm.
