Nintendo kept saying their controller was going to set them apart from the competition, and it probably did. The only question is...is it cool? (Insert dramatic cliffhanger music of your choosing) It's shaped just like a TV remote, except smaller. So it's a one handed controller (cheers from people who like to eat while gaming). It does become two handed, however, if you want to use a joystick - in which case, another remote control is plugged into the original and you hold it in the other hand. As far as "How it works" goes, IGN says "Imagine sticking your hand into a virtual box and having your TV understand how it's moving in there." IGN article cube.ign.com/articles/651/651275p1.html& for the possibilities cube.ign.com/articles/651/651224p1.htmlSo far I'm into it, but I'm still wondering how well it'll work. Especially for Smash Bros >_>

*looks around for a revolution* Yoo-hoo revolution where are you? Come here boy.
Ok the controller is kinda cool, but I really can't believe they were making such a big deal out of THAT. Quite a few of it's features are not all that revolutionary. They've been thought up before by many people and have actually been produced.

Of course most of the ideas in it have been used before (there are virtual baseball games and many other virtual sports games that are motion sensitve, and screen pointing has been around since before duck hunt), a big deal is being made because a major gaming company is willing to use those ideas for its main controller, moving away from everyone else in the console wars.

Do you think they'll stop bragging about it now?

It's doubtful. The bragging will probably pick up when some information of the games are released.

And still it's not a grand revolution like they were promising. Just blowing smoke up their own ass and sadly probably will continue.

This is about what I expected from their "grand revolution", and I'm still loving it.

A lot cheaper than what I expected. I want to say "That's it?". Doesn't seem as worth what they made it out to be,

It looks kind of too small. I'll probably break it.

That controller looks so awesome, I want it. Just wait... Sony and Microsoft will try to copy it in a few years. (The NES was what pioneered the everyday controller we see on all the consoles today)

Now what I'm dying to actually know about the controller (and yes I'm serious) is that if I do the harlem shake while holding the controller is if my character will accurately do the harlem shake as well. This would be such a selling point wouldn't it, Mario doing the harlem shake?
Also about the shell things to transfer the controller to like gamecube one, have the said how much they'll cost yet?

I believe they'll be included with the controllers.
