Which artists do you think could cross over?

Which artists do you think could cross over to mainstream American music? (It doesn't matter if you want them to or not, just who do you think could).


I think....

Crystal Kay - Come on, she has the talent, the sounds, and the look. The girl's got it going on.

L'Arc~en~Ciel - Even though Hyde's English seems to get worse over the years, Laruku has the fanbase to make a mark on the charts.

Bi - Oh, come on. Bi can definately give Justin Timberlake a run for his money.

Hikaru Utada - I still have faith that Hikki can do well if she were kick Island Def Jam in their corporate balls, perhaps went back to her original sound, and spent just a bit more time on lyrics.

BoA - Yeah, Britney's still around, so I see a place for BoA.

Rie Fu - Well, she does do like 1/2 of her songs in English anyway haha, but other than that she'd be popular with Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, and Dido fans.

Sowelu - With British artists like Jamie Cullum, Joss Stone, and Craig David coming over and redifining soul, I'm sure Sowelu can too.

Fake? - Yeah, I just think they're awesome. They'd be awesome here too.

Soulhead - I'm surprised they haven't yet to be honest. They're fans of American music and have a great Hiphop & R&B sound.

Kumi Koda - If she just worked on her accent, I'm sure she'd be a big star here. She's got the sex appeal and talent.

L'arc~en~Ciel: They got a really good responce when they were in Baltimore.

Bi: XD He's so freaking hot, and his talent es awesome.

Edison Chen: He's got good english and he's hot. Isn't that reason enough? 'Sides anyone that's seen Twin's Effect (aka Vampire Effect), would most likely go to his shows.

Asian Kung-fu Generation: Great band.

I think I heard about that. I'm sure SMG'd do well in America but metal's not really in the mainstream anymore so honestly I'm think they're fine where they are or REALLY in Germany (sorry had to admit it.)

I think keeping them far away as possible would help so their music wouldn't start to suck. Would like to see HandMC though but they're Engrish is as good as Diddy's Japanese.
