KAGOSHIMA — A car ran into a group of students, their teacher and a police officer at a road relay on Monday in Miyanojo, Kagoshima Prefecture, leaving one dead, another in a coma and 14 injured, some seriously, police said. Shiho Nagano, 14, a student at a local junior high school, died at a hospital.
The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. when the minicar rammed into the group from behind as they were returning to their school after watching the road relay. The police officer had been controlling the traffic near the site.
There seriously are some crazyass drivers in big cities in Japan.
