Why do people even make video game movies??? Going in to the movie, I didn't expect much because I didn't know what it was. It seemed ok at first, but then stuff stopped adding up. Police popping out of nowhere. Random killings. Pointless sacrifice. And the most random sex scene I've even seen that I can remember. Seriously, nothing led up to it and it wasn't even good. No real connection was established between the two partners. The characters were hardly fleshed out. Some guy even blows himself up when he clearly had a chance to live. This movie blows. It's a waste of $7. Even my dad said he felt like he should be holding a controller.

I liked the Mario movie . John Leguizamo is awesome. They were almost forced to do a Mario movie with how popular Mario was in popculture at the time. I think they did the best they could, I mean it was better than seeing an Italian actor jumping up and down throughout the whole movie. As for 'Alone in the Dark',...wow does that sound bad. Has anyone seen 'House of the Dead'?
